Plaintiff Property Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee a caseload of plaintiff-side property insurance litigation cases from their initiation to resolution.

• Directly engage with clients to discuss strategies, case progress, and potential settlement options.

• Prepare legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery requests, responses, and briefs.

• Conduct and defend depositions.

• Participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions.

• Collaborate closely with seasoned attorneys while retaining responsibility for your cases.

• Litigate cases in both Illinois state and federal courts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Missouri law license in good standing.

• Minimum of one year of experience in civil litigation.

• Familiarity with discovery processes, motion practice, and depositions.

• Strong skills in legal writing, research, and analysis.

• Excellent communication and client service skills.

• A self-driven attorney who excels in a dynamic plaintiff litigation setting.

• Preferred experience in property insurance litigation.

• Kansas licensure is a significant advantage, although not mandatory.
