Placement Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate submissions for thoroughness, precision, and readiness for carrier submission.

• Detect any missing or ambiguous information and collaborate with sales to address these issues.

• Ensure that submissions adhere to internal quality benchmarks and carrier specifications.

• Assist in promoting accounts to carriers in accordance with the placement strategy.

• Leverage carrier online rating systems to facilitate quoting processes.

• Aid in pricing assessments, coverage comparisons, and basic analytical tasks.

• Monitor carrier responses and follow up as necessary.

• Submit accounts to carriers after obtaining approval and oversee progress.

• Keep precise status updates within the Caffeine system.

• Assist with the preparation of bind orders and relevant placement documentation.

• Maintain accurate records in the agency management systems.

• Engage in professional communication with sales, placement team members, carriers, and brokers.

• Raise coverage or market concerns when appropriate.

• Undertake other similar assignments as directed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• 2–4 years of experience in commercial insurance placement is preferred.

• Current P&C Producer License is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with P&C insurance coverages is preferred but not essential.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a sense of ownership over work.

• Capability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in using Excel and other software applications.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
