Physician – Virtual Health Assessment Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality care to patients through Oscar's platforms utilizing phone and video communication.

• Act as a supervising physician for Advanced Practice Providers.

• Directly oversee and supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants in accordance with state regulations.

• Deliver medical care virtually via phone, video, and messaging, adhering to Oscar Medical Group's guidelines, practices, and policies.

• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare providers across various service lines.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.

• Report directly to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• MD or DO from a recognized and accredited medical institution.

• Proficiency in Spanish, confirmed through a proctored assessment.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.

• Licensed in at least 2 core Oscar States.

• Must hold a Tennessee License.

• AND one of the following licenses: Texas or Florida.

• Active IMLCC certification or eligible to apply.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states with the support of our licensing vendor.

• Familiarity with value-based care documentation standards.

• Bonus: 2 or more years of Telemedicine experience.

• Bonus: Licenses in Missouri, Alabama, or Mississippi.

• Bonus: Experience in regulatory supervision of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA).
