Physician Reviewer, Medical AI Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Assess clinical EHR vignettes in conjunction with questions, proposed answers, and misleading “trap” answers related to diagnosis and treatment tasks.

• Evaluate the quality of clinical reasoning, the accuracy and completeness of vignettes, the correctness and gradeability of answers, and the quality of trap responses.

• Determine if reasoning chains derive answers solely from the facts presented in the vignettes.

• Correct reasoning pathways and compose brief rationales.

• Engage in three independent blind reads followed by physician adjudication.

• Submit tasks by specified deadlines and adhere to the outlined acceptance criteria.

• Dedicate approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US-based, actively practicing physician (MD/DO).

• Possess a medical degree (MD or DO).

• Hold an active, unrestricted US medical license, confirmed by the issuing medical board.

• Have board certification or have completed residency training.

• Recent direct patient care experience is required; attending-level experience is preferred.

• Comprehensive, multi-system diagnostic and treatment experience in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine.

• Excellent clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, next-step management, and the application of evidence-based guidelines.

• Proficient written English skills (C1+).

• Submit a CV in English along with an indication of English proficiency level.

• Previous experience in medical AI evaluation, clinical content or exam-question review, or medical annotation/QA is advantageous.

• Not appropriate for medical students, unlicensed medical graduates, non-physician clinicians, or non-clinical healthcare roles.
