Physician Reviewer, Medical AI Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.

📋 Description

• Analyze clinical EHR vignettes along with associated questions, suggested answers, and misleading distractor answers related to diagnosis and treatment tasks.

• Evaluate vignettes that encompass cardiovascular, nervous, hematologic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, musculoskeletal, and integumentary systems.

• Assess the quality of clinical reasoning, accuracy and completeness of vignettes, correctness and gradeability of answers, and quality of distractors.

• Verify that reasoning pathways lead to answers solely based on the facts presented in the vignette.

• Correct reasoning pathways and provide concise rationales.

• Engage in three independent blind evaluations followed by adjudication by a physician.

• Complete tasks by established deadlines and fulfill specified acceptance criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US-based, actively practicing physician.

• Hold a medical degree (MD or DO).

• Possess an active, unrestricted US medical license, verified by the issuing medical board.

• Have board certification or have completed residency training.

• Recent experience in direct patient care; attending-level experience preferred.

• Comprehensive diagnostic and treatment experience across multiple systems in internal, family, emergency, or hospital medicine.

• Strong clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, next-step management, and application of evidence-based guidelines.

• Proficient in written English (C1+ level).

• Experience in medical AI evaluation, clinical content review or exam question review, or medical annotation/QA is advantageous.

• Not suitable for medical students, unlicensed medical graduates, non-physician clinicians, or individuals with non-clinical healthcare titles.
