Physician Reviewer, Medical AI Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess clinical EHR vignettes alongside questions, suggested answers, and distractor trap responses related to diagnosis and treatment tasks.

• Analyze vignettes covering cardiovascular, nervous, hematologic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, musculoskeletal, and integumentary systems.

• Evaluate the quality of clinical reasoning, accuracy and completeness of vignettes, disclosure of answers, correctness and gradeability of answers, and quality of traps.

• Confirm whether reasoning chains derive answers solely from the facts presented in the vignette.

• Rectify reasoning paths and compose concise rationales.

• Engage in three independent blind reads succeeded by physician adjudication.

• Contribute to testing, evaluating, and enhancing medical AI systems for prominent technology firms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Based in the US, actively practicing as a physician (MD/DO).

• Possession of a medical degree (MD or DO).

• Valid, unrestricted US medical license, confirmed by the issuing medical board.

• Board certification or completion of residency training.

• Recent experience in direct patient care; attending-level experience is preferred.

• Extensive diagnostic and treatment experience across multiple systems in internal, family, emergency, or hospital medicine.

• Strong clinical reasoning capabilities, including differential diagnosis, next-step management, and application of evidence-based guidelines.

• Prior involvement in medical AI evaluation, clinical content or exam question review, or medical annotation/QA is advantageous.

• Proficient written English (C1+ level).

• Not suitable for medical students, unlicensed medical graduates, non-physician clinicians, or individuals with non-clinical healthcare roles.

• Availability for approximately 10–20 hours weekly during active project phases.

• Tasks must be completed by specified deadlines and adhere to acceptance criteria.
