This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Analyze and interpret full-body mole mapping and dermoscopic images obtained through advanced imaging technologies.

• Detect suspicious skin lesions and generate dermatologic reports.

• Offer insights and recommendations to treating practitioners.

• Collaborate, as needed, with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary, patient-centered framework.

• Assist in the ongoing enhancement of image review protocols.

• Optionally participate in education or research pertaining to skin cancer screening.

• Provide national clinical governance and oversight to ensure uniformity and quality throughout the service.

• Integrate hands-on mole mapping clinical practice with broader leadership and oversight roles.

• Adjust the distribution of clinical and oversight responsibilities based on the candidate’s experience and service requirements.

• Operate without direct patient interaction or the need to handle imaging equipment.


⛳️ Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent).

• Certification in Dermatology or an equivalent Dermoscopy certification (PGDip).

• Valid medical license in the province of practice.

• Proven expertise in dermoscopy techniques and their interpretation.

• Experience or familiarity with mole mapping systems such as FotoFinder or Vectra is an advantage.

• Strong clinical judgment and meticulous attention to detail in image-based dermatologic evaluation.

• Ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively within a remote, collaborative medical team.

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for digital dermatology and innovative medical technologies.

• Approximately 80–90% of work will be direct clinical involvement in mole mapping, with 10–20% dedicated to clinical oversight duties for the service.

• Availability for a flexible Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

• Commitment of approximately 10–15 hours per week.
