This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
β’ Foster and establish high-value donor relationships to promote both immediate and long-term revenue growth for mission impact.
β’ Oversee a caseload of 100β120 donor and prospect relationships, primarily focusing on individual donors.
β’ Develop and nurture partnerships capable of generating gifts exceeding $10,000.
β’ Conduct both virtual and in-person meetings for qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
β’ Formulate clear strategies and timelines for each donor and prospect.
β’ Achieve or surpass individual and annual fundraising revenue targets.
β’ Leverage personal and professional networks to identify connections between donors and partners.
β’ Collaborate with prospect development and research teams to discover and nurture new partners.
β’ Identify, foster, and solicit planned, blended, and asset-based gifts.
β’ Maintain donor records and document communications in the CRM within one week of contact.
β’ Regularly update opportunities for accurate forecasting.
β’ Meet essential lead indicators, including donor visits, qualification attempts, relational touches, and relational moves.
β’ Collaborate with the major gifts team and report to the Senior Director of Philanthropy, Major Gifts.
β’ Travel approximately 40β60% of work time for donor meetings, partner meetings, conferences, field events, headquarters visits, and occasional international travel.
β’ Bachelor's degree or a similar combination of relevant education and experience.
β’ A minimum of 5+ years in relationship fundraising or sales with a proven track record of success in a complex, mission-driven organization.
β’ Understanding of basic planned giving vehicles, non-cash gifts, and concepts related to tax, financial, and estate planning.
β’ Proficiency in using a donor CRM; experience with Salesforce is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Personal commitment to Jesus Christ.
β’ Identification with and active participation in a Christian church, along with a proactive approach to growing in Christian faith.
β’ Active involvement in organizational prayer, devotional times, organization-wide events, and regular work-related spiritual activities.
β’ Uphold exemplary Christian ethics, behavior, and conduct.
β’ Exhibit Christian maturity and alignment with the American Bible Society's vision, mission, values, and biblical goals.
β’ Capability to work Central or Mountain time zone hours with 4β6 hours of overlap with ABS core hours.
β’ Flexibility to work varying hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
β’ Reasonable access to a major airport.
β’ A current driver's license is required.
β’ Must successfully pass a background check.
β’ Satisfactory reference checks are required.
β’ Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
