This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
β’ Perform literature reviews and conduct critical assessments of PQC, NIST algorithms, blockchain technology, and mobile security.
β’ Aid in the selection and evaluation of PQC algorithms for use in blockchain and TLS 1.3 environments.
β’ Support the development and integration of PQC within a simulated blockchain prototype.
β’ Engage in the implementation and optimization of TLS 1.3 with PQC for Android/iOS banking SuperApp prototypes.
β’ Execute performance, usability, and security testing.
β’ Gather and analyze data regarding user experience (UX), latency, and resource usage.
β’ Identify technical challenges and suggest strategies for mitigation.
β’ Assist in evaluating regulatory impacts and formulating compliance guidelines.
β’ Document findings, prepare technical reports, and create presentations for projects.
β’ Doctorate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
β’ Solid background in Software Engineering.
β’ Expertise in Python programming.
β’ Familiarity with cryptographic libraries and APIs.
β’ Experience in API development and integration.
β’ Knowledge of testing methodologies and software development best practices.
β’ Practical understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography.
β’ Proficiency in hash functions and digital signatures.
β’ Knowledge of digital certificates and PKI.
β’ Understanding of cryptographic key management.
β’ Familiarity with secure communication protocols, particularly TLS.
β’ Background in application and systems security.
β’ Capacity to comprehend technical documentation and scientific literature in English.
β’ Preferred familiarity with PQC; NIST standards like ML-KEM and ML-DSA; crypto-agility; blockchain/DLT; smart contracts; distributed architectures; microservices; containers; cloud computing; quantum computing; financial application security; mobile security; and SuperApps.
β’ Monthly gross stipend: BRL 11,000.00.
β’ Opportunity to work 40 hours per week.
