This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
β’ Perform literature reviews and conduct critical analyses on PQC, NIST algorithms, blockchain technology, and mobile security.
β’ Assist in selecting and evaluating PQC algorithms tailored for blockchain and TLS 1.3 implementations.
β’ Support the development and integration of PQC into a simulated blockchain prototype.
β’ Engage in the implementation and optimization of TLS 1.3 with PQC for Android/iOS banking SuperApp prototypes.
β’ Execute performance, usability, and security testing on the prototypes.
β’ Gather and analyze data regarding UX impact, latency, and resource usage.
β’ Collaborate to identify technical challenges and propose effective mitigation strategies.
β’ Aid in analyzing regulatory implications and crafting compliance guidelines.
β’ Document findings, prepare technical reports, and create project presentations.
β’ PhD
β’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
β’ Solid foundation in Software Engineering principles.
β’ Proficient in Python programming language.
β’ Familiarity with cryptographic libraries and APIs.
β’ Experience in API development and integration processes.
β’ Understanding of testing methodologies and software development best practices.
β’ Knowledgeable in applied symmetric and asymmetric cryptography.
β’ Familiar with hash functions and digital signatures.
β’ Well-versed in digital certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
β’ Understanding of cryptographic key management techniques.
β’ Knowledge of secure communication protocols, including TLS.
β’ Insight into application and systems security.
β’ Capability to read and comprehend technical documentation and scientific literature in English.
β’ Preferred knowledge includes: Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), NIST PQC standards like ML-KEM and ML-DSA, concepts of crypto-agility and cryptographic migration, blockchain/DLT, smart contracts, distributed architectures and microservices, containers, cloud computing, fundamentals of quantum computing, financial application security, mobile applications, and SuperApps.
β’ Stipend: BRL 11,000.00
