Pharmacy Technician – Refill Calls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the processing of medication refills, involving data entry and claims adjudication.

• Conduct outbound calls for refill requests and provide assistance to patients during the refill process.

• Address and resolve inquiries from patients and providers that come in.

• Clarify prescription orders by collaborating with pharmacists or clinical personnel.

• Keep patient and prescription information current in software systems.

• Identify trends, suggest enhancements, and support initiatives aimed at process improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless experience for patients.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to high service quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician is required, including expertise in refills, claims adjudication, clinical collaboration, or specialty pharmacy.

• An active Pharmacy Technician license from Washington or Oregon is mandatory.

• National certification (CPhT or an equivalent) is required.

• Strong computer skills are essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is necessary.

• Ability to navigate the internet and utilize web-based platforms effectively.

• Data entry and computer skills will be assessed through a pre-employment evaluation.
