Pharmacy Technician – Call Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver care to patients, providers, and customers.

• Utilize the pharmacy computer system to enhance patient care.

• Engage in care-related activities that do not necessitate pharmacist expertise.

• Accurately prepare and label medications for distribution.

• Manage inventory by retrieving, reviewing, and overseeing medications and supplies within the pharmacy.

• Keep pharmacy records up to date.

• Conduct housekeeping duties within the pharmacy, adhering to hospital and accreditation standards.

• Assist in the onboarding and training of new pharmacy staff.

• Fulfill job-specific responsibilities and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of Pennsylvania.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician within two years from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB or NHA).

• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Intern with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.

• Proficient in computer skills.

• Knowledge of the healthcare regulatory environment.

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical names.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Availability to work 40 scheduled hours per week.
