Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Address incomplete, invalid, or clinically concerning prescriptions through resolution or outreach.

• Apply departmental policies and procedures to effectively complete tasks.

• Recognize work expectations and quality benchmarks within established guidelines.

• Engage with physician offices and hospitals through fax or telephone communication.

• Investigate and update clarifications and denials associated with patient profiles.

• Handle calls from providers, patients, and retail pharmacies, as well as make outgoing calls.

• Execute administrative, operational, and customer support tasks.

• Conduct computations as necessary.

• Manage and prioritize assignments with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants MUST reside in Texas, Arizona, Florida, or Ohio.

• An active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence is required.

• At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail, mail order, or hospital pharmacy setting.

• Demonstrated ability to resolve issues and promote collaborative problem-solving among peers.

• Self-motivated and capable of working effectively in a team environment.

• A positive, proactive disposition; energetic, highly motivated, and a self-starter.

• Experience with inbound and outbound calls in any pharmacy context.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

• Proficient in working accurately and efficiently while performing repetitive duties.

• Intermediate computer skills are necessary.

• Must be flexible to work any hours between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm CST.

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

• National Certification, such as PTCB/CPhT, is preferred.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed is required.
