This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct telephonic follow-ups with members concerning medication management and chronic disease support.
• Organize the delivery of medications to patients.
• Assist patients in accessing the Pharmacist for their clinical requirements.
• Oversee patient orders through the verification process by the Pharmacist.
• Execute tasks related to medication management services.
• Access, enter, and retrieve data through the Pharmacy's computer system.
• Obtain refill approvals from prescribers.
• Process and prepare claims for third-party insurance.
• Maintain precise patient/client profiles.
• Deliver medication management services in accordance with established workflows.
• Complete clear and concise documentation within Care Management programs.
• Answer phone calls in a professional manner and direct them appropriately.
• Accept prescriptions for filling and ensure the Pharmacist in Charge has the necessary order information.
• Address customer issues and concerns, referring them to the pharmacist as necessary.
• Foster teamwork, professional services, and effective communication.
• Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Pharmacy technician license or pharmacy technician trainee license from the Texas State Board and the respective state of residence.
• Strong communication abilities and customer service skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Capability to read and transcribe pharmaceutical information accurately.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods and stand intermittently.
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
