This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
β’ Lead, manage, and ensure the successful execution and supervision of projects and systems while adhering to scope, quality, schedule, and budget constraints.
β’ Act as a clinical subject matter expert and end user in the selection, planning, and implementation of products, services, or outcomes.
β’ Launch projects under the direction of pharmacy administration to improve current operations.
β’ Collaborate with pharmacy executives, directors, functional managers, clinical pharmacists, and teams outside of pharmacy.
β’ Coordinate the efforts of designated project team members and assess productivity, communication, and collaboration.
β’ Oversee the deliverables of multiple special projects and systems concurrently.
β’ Identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks associated with projects and systems.
β’ Evaluate feasibility through research and engagement with stakeholders.
β’ Gather requirements, objectives, and acceptance criteria from sponsors and stakeholders.
β’ Identify, prioritize, and schedule deliverables, milestones, and tasks.
β’ Estimate resource needs, task durations, and costs.
β’ Develop and maintain project documentation, including charters, work breakdown structures, project sign-offs, and lessons learned.
β’ Monitor project/system activities to ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of information.
β’ Conduct risk assessments and implement plans for mitigation.
β’ Ensure outcomes align with agreed-upon business objectives.
β’ Facilitate project closure and transition deliverables to functional teams.
β’ Analyze workflows and create process improvement initiatives.
β’ Address workflow challenges and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
β’ Standardize and tailor workflow initiatives for specific clinical sites.
β’ Promote collaboration and communication among operational, clinical, and ancillary staff.
β’ Mentor and educate project/system and operational stakeholders.
β’ Resolve and avert conflicts.
β’ Carry out additional duties as assigned.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy.
β’ PharmD is preferred.
β’ Minimum of two (2) years of experience in project management, system management, project coordination, and/or general business management.
β’ Pharmacy experience is preferred.
β’ Must be licensed to practice as a pharmacist or eligible for licensure within 4 months of the hire date in the state where the team member works.
β’ In the absence of an active Pharmacist license, candidates may be a graduate of an ACPE accredited US college of Pharmacy with an intern certificate pending initial licensure or have completed requirements for reciprocity pending board of pharmacy interview for licensure.
β’ Familiarity with medical and pharmacy terminology.
β’ Strong mathematical skills.
β’ Proficient computer skills.
β’ Understanding of BOP/DHEC/DEA rules and regulations.
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills.
β’ Strong problem-solving ability.
β’ Capability to work in dynamic interdisciplinary team environments and manage urgent, high-pressure situations.
β’ Ability to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills when interacting with subordinates, peers, supervisors, and external contacts.
