Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Validate interactions, dosing, or contraindication findings against the complete medication list and medical chart of the patient.

• Identify overlooked interactions, outdated patient information, erroneous dose calculations, and monograph guidance that has been replaced by newer Special Alerts.

• Assess whether the complete clinical picture, including active medications, current lab results, and existing comorbidities, has been considered.

• Differentiate between allowed treatments and suitable options for the individual patient.

• Ensure that accurate clinical conclusions are reflected in updated orders, prescriber notifications, documentation in charts or notes, and communication with the care team.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and enhancing AI systems leveraging pharmacy expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Regular use of UpToDate Lexidrug or Lexicomp, at least weekly, in a current or recent position.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional pharmacy experience.

• Preference for experience in an inpatient or hospital environment.

• Possession of a PharmD and an active pharmacy license, or equivalent clinical experience requiring rigorous verification.

• Proficient use of Interactions, Trissel's, and monograph sections.

• Capability to detect missed interactions, outdated dose calculations, and outdated guidance.

• Strong expertise in at least 2–3 specialized areas, such as Trissel's IV Compatibility, pediatric or weight-based dosing, Beers Criteria, risks during pregnancy and lactation, REMS and prescribing/access limitations, therapeutic class comparisons, or drug identification and patient education.

• Comfort in evaluating whether clinical findings were accurately documented in the chart, orders, and care team communications.

• Previous experience in data annotation, labeling, or AI evaluation is advantageous.

• Candidates must not be on H1-B or STEM OPT visas.
