This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist staff in achieving set deadlines for PFAS-related deliverables, audit tasks, and other program duties.
• Manage program documentation and collaboration resources utilizing Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Suggest enhancements to processes and documentation, and identify technological opportunities to optimize workflows and increase transparency.
• Create and provide guidance on communication materials that ensure consistent PFAS messaging throughout the Army enterprise.
• Examine records, essential supporting documents, and relevant system records.
• Support data, accounting, and financial reporting efforts, including standardization, analysis, work products, data calls, and congressional reporting obligations.
• Evaluate proposed and existing PFAS-related regulations and congressional directives, providing advice on Army interests and necessary actions.
• Produce written reports, progress reviews, metrics, dashboards, presentations, briefings, and status updates.
• Assist in the creation of program deliverables, reporting metrics, and training materials.
• Review work outputs for technical precision and quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with Army components on data collection, information exchange, communication, and transparency.
• Aid in data analysis and documentation tasks related to WEBCASS, EDMS, and other Army systems or websites.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental policy/management, natural resources, geology, chemistry, biology, environmental/civil engineering, public policy/administration, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience supporting Army or DoD environmental programs, ideally related to cleanup/DERP or emerging contaminants.
• Background in supporting Army or Department of Defense environmental initiatives, particularly environmental cleanup or the Defense Environmental Restoration Program.
• Familiarity with PFAS cleanup standards and/or PFAS cleanup operations.
• Understanding of CERCLA, DERP, RCRA, and/or the Safe Drinking Water Act.
• Preference for knowledge of PFAS regulatory developments.
• Proven experience in creating written reports, briefings, metrics, and products for senior leadership.
• Experience with program documentation, tracking deliverables, and collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of working across various organizational levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Capability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Desired experience in direct PFAS cleanup, investigation, or drinking-water response.
• Experience in HQ/service-level program, audit, data-call, or congressional reporting support is preferred.
• Background in environmental risk assessment and CERCLA/RCRA cleanup project support is desirable.
• Experience with Power BI, Visio, and Microsoft 365 workflow tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with WEBCASS, EDMS, or similar Army environmental systems is preferred.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field; PMP or CHMM certification is preferred.
