This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee personal injury cases from initial intake to trial, including the development of strategies, discovery, depositions, and negotiations for settlements.
• Represent clients during hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Counsel clients regarding their legal options and formulate strategies tailored to their specific cases.
• Draft and present pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Work in conjunction with paralegals and staff on exhibits, witnesses, and trial strategies.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and risks to steer case direction effectively.
• Ensure ongoing communication with clients, providing a high-touch client experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation.
• Must possess an active North Carolina Bar license.
• Strong courtroom experience with a demonstrated history of achieving successful outcomes.
• Outstanding advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills.
• Ability to think strategically, with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and organized, capable of managing a full caseload remotely.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across various departments and functions.
• Preference for candidates with dual licensure in North Carolina and Texas.
• Competitive compensation ranging from $150,000 to $180,000, with slight negotiability based on experience.
