Permit Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and amend pass/fail verdicts, written justifications, and citation boxes on PDF plans utilizing the in-tool editing toolkit.

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs, rectify mislabeled data, and assess agent performance against authentic permit reviewer conclusions.

• Analyze permitting checklists and apply pertinent requirements to the submitted plans.

• Connect checklist requirements to the IBC, IRC, model codes, state building codes, or specific amendments from counties/jurisdictions.

• Clarify which requirement is applicable and the reasoning behind it.

• Validate accurate AI determinations and rectify any incorrect assessments as part of the training feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in the US.

• Possess ICC certification pertinent to building plan review.

• Have direct experience in reviewing permit applications and issuing or addressing plan review comments.

• A minimum of 2 years of practical permitting experience is required.

• Extensive knowledge of the permitting process in the United States.

• Experience and credentials as a plan examiner or Certified Building Official (CBO).

• Provide details of certifications and the jurisdictions and project types you have reviewed.

• Preference for candidates with experience in Arizona, California, Florida, or Texas.
