Per Diem Research Nurse, Adult

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Ensure the daily operations of clinical trials are conducted in alignment with protocols, Case Report Forms, supporting documentation, procedures, timelines, and SOPs.

• Engage in communication with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.

• Maintain precise documentation and electronic data transfers while safeguarding subject confidentiality, ensuring GCP compliance, and adhering to data protection regulations.

• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and other necessary meetings.

• Organize and execute both on-site and off-site subject trial visits in collaboration with the RN team.

• Conduct trial procedures and assessments as per protocol and SOPs, ensuring the collection of accurate data.

• Administer trial medications and oversee their secure storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, package, and send samples while coordinating with courier services and relevant organizations.

• Assist in identifying and recruiting eligible patients for clinical trials.

• Offer information and support to patients receiving care both on-site and off-site.

• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and suspected unexpected serious adverse reactions.

• Notify Illingworth and associated companies of any suspected misconduct or fraud.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Experience in research and clinical trials, along with GCP certification.

• Familiarity with research design and methodology is preferred.

• Knowledge and experience of clinical nursing skills, such as Venepuncture and ECG, is advantageous.

• Capable of working independently with initiative within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively.

• Good working knowledge of computer software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum.

• Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education will also be taken into account.
