Per Diem Research Nurse – Adult

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of clinical trials in alignment with trial protocols, case report forms, supporting documents, procedures, timelines, and SOPs.

• Liaise with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.

• Ensure the accuracy of trial documentation and electronic data transfers while upholding subject confidentiality, GCP, and data protection regulations.

• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and attend other multidisciplinary, project management, and client-facing meetings as necessary.

• Coordinate and conduct both on-site and off-site subject trial visits in collaboration with the RN team.

• Execute trial procedures and assessments as per protocols and SOPs while gathering precise data.

• Administer trial medications and ensure their secure storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, safely package, and send samples, coordinating with couriers and relevant organizations.

• Identify potentially eligible patients and assist with recruitment into clinical trials.

• Provide patient information and support for care both on-site and off-site.

• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and SUSARs while supporting necessary follow-up actions.

• Report any suspected misconduct or fraud to Illingworth and its associated companies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Experience in research and clinical trials with GCP certification is essential.

• Familiarity with research design and methodology is desirable.

• Preferably experienced in clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG.

• Capable of working independently with initiative in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong working knowledge of computer software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum requirement.

• Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education will also be taken into account.
