This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Adjust claims related to automobile, homeowner, and excess liability policies.
• Assess exposures and evaluate injury claims based on damages, insurance contracts, company policies, and relevant state laws.
• Conduct investigations and assess coverage, liability, and damages associated with serious and catastrophic injuries and intricate legal matters.
• Promptly refer lawsuits to counsel and reassess changing exposure during the discovery phase.
• Oversee defense counsel in serious and complex litigation involving claims and intricate coverage situations.
• Develop strategies to resolve claims while managing indemnity costs and minimizing expense leakage.
• Assess coverage and prepare reservation-of-rights and coverage-denial letters.
• Ensure proper reserves are maintained for all open claims.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• Travel as necessary.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, including personal lines claims, coverage evaluation, and the ability to draft reservation-of-rights and coverage-denial letters, or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Possession of state-mandated adjusting licenses as required.
• Insurance designations such as CPCU, AIC, or ARM are preferred.
• Experience with commercial lines claims and litigation across multiple states is preferred.
• Familiarity with the affluent market segment.
• Comprehensive understanding of tort theories, legal principles, negotiation tactics, and litigation management.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to produce thorough, precise, and constructive written reports.
