This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete hiring cycle across strategy, engineering, and operations, which includes sourcing, screening, structured assessments, panels, reference checks, and extending offers.
• Facilitate realistic working sessions, take-home scenarios, and calibrated scoring methodologies.
• Ensure that hiring processes are resilient against exaggerated claims, coordinated application fraud, and AI-generated distractions.
• Develop talent pipelines in anticipation of hiring requirements.
• Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes comprehensively.
• Handle employee administration inquiries, including contracts, policies, PTO, payroll, benefits coordination, and compliance within a distributed, multi-country team.
• Design and implement performance management, benefits, and compensation policies.
• Act as the primary contact for people-related issues and escalate matters as necessary.
• Manage internal communication flows, including company updates, leadership announcements, project achievements, and team rituals.
• Convert leadership decisions into clear and effective internal communications.
• Foster company culture through recognition, feedback loops, team events, and daily practices.
• Utilize AI tools on a daily basis, work independently, make informed decisions, provide constructive feedback, and continuously enhance owned processes.
• Collaborate directly with founders and the leadership team while maintaining autonomy over the People function.
• A minimum of 5 years (or equivalent experience) in people operations, talent acquisition, or HR generalist roles, preferably in consulting, agency, or rapidly evolving tech environments.
• Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting for senior and specialized positions; capable of assessing talent beyond merely scheduling interviews.
• Experience in supporting teams across US and European employment contexts.
• U.S.-based candidates are strongly preferred.
• Strong operational instincts with a background in designing and implementing people processes from the ground up.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive information.
• Proficiency with modern AI tools in daily operations.
• Interest in how generative AI is transforming the People function.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and with distributed teams across various time zones.
• Capable of clearly setting expectations and following through on commitments.
• Good judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive compensation, performance, and hiring matters.
