This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders across various functions.
• Collaborate with leaders to address intricate people-related challenges and align talent strategies with ministry goals.
• Offer guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent development, compensation, employee relations, succession planning, and change management.
• Mentor managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, performance management, staff development, termination, compensation, succession planning, benefits, and talent acquisition.
• Inform employees about interactions with their managers, conflict resolution, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
• Ensure adherence to local and national employment laws and regulations.
• Investigate employee and stakeholder concerns related to performance management, harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and other related issues.
• Evaluate engagement through HR metrics and assessment tools.
• Suggest and implement programs and interventions to enhance team success.
• Oversee annual merit, performance management, benefits enrollment, and new employee orientation initiatives.
• Facilitate team-building, merit programs, strategic planning, brainstorming sessions, and other group activities.
• Coach and provide expertise to HR professionals and support staff.
• Advocate for the needs of children and uphold child protection standards along with Compassion’s cultural values.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in a Human Resources business partner role or a similar position.
• Proven ability to swiftly establish trust and credibility with senior leaders and stakeholders across diverse functions.
• Demonstrated experience in influencing decisions, facilitating strategic dialogues, and constructively challenging leaders on complex organizational and people-related issues.
• Experience in leading or supporting organizational change initiatives, including change management, organizational design, and navigating uncertainty in dynamic environments.
• Capability to function effectively at both strategic and operational levels, translating business needs into actionable solutions while managing multiple priorities.
• Proficient in leveraging AI-enabled tools and technologies to enhance effectiveness.
• Demonstrated spiritual maturity and alignment with Compassion's Christian mission and values.
• Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Regularly witness for Jesus Christ and support Compassion’s ministry through prayer.
• Commit to child protection considerations and adhere to Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct.
