People Analytics Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Analyze extensive and intricate datasets utilizing advanced Excel functions, Power Query, and SQL queries to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.

• Interpret data and offer actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

• Create interactive dashboards and reports through Power BI and Visier.

• Partner with stakeholders to comprehend requirements and develop tailored visualizations that communicate metrics and KPIs.

• Design and implement sophisticated data models using Power Pivot.

• Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into a centralized data repository using Power Query.

• Cleanse and transform data to guarantee accuracy and consistency.

• Establish monitoring mechanisms to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of data analytics initiatives.

• Generate advanced calculations and measures utilizing Power Pivot.

• Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to boost efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with business leaders, data engineers, and IT professionals to provide insights that align with business objectives.

• Convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance data analysis processes using Power Query, Power Pivot, and advanced Excel functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, including complex formula development, pivot tables, and data visualization.

• Expertise in Visier and Power BI for developing interactive dashboards and reports, utilizing Power Query and Power Pivot.

• Experience with Workday Reporting is an advantage.

• Strong SQL skills, encompassing data extraction, transformation, and manipulation.

• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and experience with database management systems.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven history of delivering high-quality, accurate, and actionable insights through data analysis.
