People AI & Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the People & Talent Team to pinpoint significant AI and automation opportunities within People Operations.

• Develop a scalable, contemporary AI-first onboarding process.

• Transform manual People workflows into automated systems powered by AI.

• Create AI agents and workflows that respond to inquiries, collect information, initiate processes, and execute specified actions.

• Integrate AI solutions with HRIS, Slack, recruitment, performance management, compensation, and other internal systems.

• Develop internal tools and interfaces tailored for employees, managers, and the People team.

• Rapidly prototype, test with actual users, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions.

• Set up human-in-the-loop controls, escalation procedures, permissions, and safeguards for sensitive People workflows.

• Collaborate with Engineering and IT on architecture, security, access controls, and the production of successful prototypes.

• Assess time savings, enhancements in employee experience, and the quality and consistency of People Operations.

• Early-career engineer.

• Adaptable to new AI models and methodologies in a swift manner.

• Experience in integrating AI into workflows and testing advanced AI functionalities.

• Capability to develop AI-powered workflows, agents, internal tools, and interfaces.

• Proficiency in APIs and automation.

• Skills in merging AI systems with HRIS, Slack, recruitment, performance management, compensation, and other internal systems.

• Ability to implement human-in-the-loop controls, escalation paths, permissions, and safeguards.

• Competence in collaborating on architecture, security, access controls, and the production of prototypes.

• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment and commit to continuous learning.
