This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +19 more states.
β’ Offer precise and comprehensive information regarding relevant pension plan provisions
β’ Address participant inquiries via inbound phone calls, along with some outbound calls
β’ Investigate and resolve client-specific participant queries while adhering to established protocols
β’ Execute transactions related to participant inquiries with minimal supervision
β’ Achieve set standards for timeliness, accuracy, quality, and productivity
β’ Record participant interactions with detailed and accurate notes in the case management system
β’ Conduct participant callbacks and escalate issues when necessary
β’ Adhere to call center metrics, procedures, and guidelines
β’ Clarify participant forms and offer assistance in completing them
β’ Adjust to various client requirements and procedures
β’ Uphold the confidentiality and security of participant and client information
β’ Comply with company, client, privacy, and security policies and standards
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned
β’ Strong verbal and written communication abilities
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
β’ Capability to listen attentively, comprehend participant inquiries, and deliver clear explanations
β’ Proficiency in navigating computer systems and adapting to new software, processes, and client-specific protocols
β’ Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
β’ Ability to work independently in a remote setting
β’ Capacity to manage multiple client requirements and processes
β’ Ability to maintain professionalism and composure while assisting participants
β’ Ability to meet established performance, quality, and productivity benchmarks
β’ Reliable attendance and punctuality
β’ Previous experience in benefits administration, pension services, customer service, call center operations, or transaction processing is advantageous
β’ Experience with defined benefit (DB) pensions
β’ Familiarity with defined benefit pension plans is a plus
β’ Understanding of DB pension processes, terminology, or participant services can contribute to your success
