Pediatric Registered Nurse – Inpatient Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Evaluate clinical outputs utilizing frontline pediatric nursing expertise.

• Assess information for clinical precision, completeness, and consistency.

• Detect missing, conflicting, or potentially unsafe data.

• Determine if outputs accurately represent inpatient pediatric care.

• Review nursing flowsheet documentation and structured assessment data.

• Assess thorough pediatric nursing evaluations.

• Identify inconsistencies or gaps in nursing documentation.

• Annotate and organize inpatient pediatric nursing assessment data.

• Adhere to detailed annotation guidelines without fail.

• Classify and assess clinical information according to project specifications.

• Review chart-based information for thoroughness and clinical coherence.

• Spot discrepancies among assessments, documentation, and clinical context.

• Assess generated clinical responses for accuracy, safety, and reliability.

• Provide clear justifications for documentation or assessment concerns.

• Offer feedback when clarification on annotation guidance is needed.

• Engage in discussions regarding challenging or unclear clinical cases with project teams.

• Assist in refining evaluation criteria and aid in developing clinical benchmarks.

• Collaborate with technical and clinical team members to enhance evaluation quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid U.S. Registered Nurse (RN) license outside of California.

• Recent experience in pediatric acute-care inpatient bedside nursing.

• Inpatient bedside nursing experience within the last decade.

• Recent or current documentation experience is highly prioritized.

• Proficient in conducting and documenting comprehensive pediatric nursing assessments.

• Strong knowledge of inpatient nursing flowsheets and clinical documentation.

• Ability to consistently adhere to detailed annotation and evaluation guidelines.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Capable of working independently, meeting deadlines, and responding positively to feedback.

• Familiarity with Epic EHR is preferred.

• Experience in quality improvement, utilization review, CDI, clinical informatics, chart abstraction, or clinical documentation review is beneficial.

• Previous experience in healthcare annotation or clinical evaluation is a plus.

• Willingness to learn web-based annotation and review tools.

• Note: H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this position.
