Pediatric Hospital Sales Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Advocate, oversee, and expand the reach of Abbott Nutritional products within hospital environments.

• Establish and support sales objectives in prominent hospital systems for Similac, Neosure, and HPCL.

• Engage in negotiations and contracting with hospitals.

• Collaborate with hospital supply chain teams.

• Present product, clinical research, protocols, and guidelines in a sales-focused context.

• Assist in launching new products.

• Work collaboratively with Dietitians, Physicians, Nurses, Neonatologists, Nutrition experts, RNs, and Supply Chain partners.

• Effectively organize time and manage administrative tasks.

• Oversee budgets.

• Operate independently with initiative and self-direction.

• Conduct evening educational sessions for Healthcare Professionals 1–2 nights per quarter.

• Travel within the territory for 30–90 minutes, with 5–10% of travel involving overnight stays for district or regional meetings and training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Ideally, a minimum of three years of sales experience in a hospital environment.

• Experience in working with Supply Chain and Health Care Professionals is preferred.

• Clinical experience is advantageous.

• Registered Dietitians with a sales background are preferred.

• Technical expertise in nutrition products and clinical data is beneficial.

• Capability to lift up to 15 lbs. to assist with the stocking and mobility of pediatric products.

• Must reside within the designated territory.

• Only local candidates will be considered; relocation is not offered.

• Ability to collaborate with hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units.

• Preferred candidates include Registered Dietitians, NICU nurses, Labor & Delivery nurses, and Registered Nurses.
