Pediatric Hospital Medicine Specialist – AI Clinical Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Analyze medical records, encompassing FHIR data, structured clinical information, and narrative notes, for the purpose of AI training and assessment.

• Confirm that clinical claims and the extracted information are substantiated by the original medical record.

• Assess pediatric inpatient documentation, which includes History of Present Illness (HPI), Past Medical History (PMH), birth and developmental history, immunization status, evaluations, and treatment plans.

• Detect any absent, incorrect, or inconsistent clinical information, taking into account age-appropriate factors and weight-based medication dosing.

• Consistently apply established review guidelines and documentation standards.

• Offer clear, evidence-driven feedback to enhance AI model efficacy and the quality of clinical data.

• Accurately document findings and convey review results to the project team.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree.

• Board certification in Pediatrics, with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine when applicable.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a hospitalist.

• Current or recent experience as an inpatient pediatric hospitalist within the last two years.

• Strong comprehension of pediatric inpatient workflows, including admissions, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge documentation.

• Capability to interpret clinical notes and structured medical record data.

• Excellent clinical judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and consistent application of review guidelines.

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to accurately explain clinical findings.
