Pediatric Hospital Medicine Specialist – AI Clinical Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Examine medical records, encompassing FHIR data, structured clinical information, and narrative notes, for the purpose of AI training and assessment.

• Confirm that clinical claims and the information extracted are substantiated by the original medical records.

• Assess pediatric inpatient documentation, which includes the History of Present Illness (HPI), Past Medical History (PMH), birth and developmental history, immunization status, evaluations, and treatment plans.

• Detect any missing, inaccurate, or inconsistent clinical information, with a focus on age-appropriate considerations and weight-based medication dosing.

• Consistently apply established review protocols and documentation standards.

• Offer clear, evidence-based feedback aimed at enhancing AI model performance and the quality of clinical data.

• Accurately document findings and convey review results to the project team.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree.

• Board certification in Pediatrics, including Pediatric Hospital Medicine subspecialty certification where applicable.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a hospitalist.

• Current or recent experience as an inpatient pediatric hospitalist within the last two years.

• Strong comprehension of pediatric inpatient workflows, such as admissions, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge documentation.

• Capability to interpret clinical notes and structured medical record data.

• Excellent clinical judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to consistently apply review guidelines.

• Proficient written communication skills with the ability to accurately explain clinical findings.
