Pediatric Hospital Medicine Specialist – AI Clinical Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Analyze medical records, encompassing FHIR data, organized clinical information, and narrative documentation, for the purpose of AI training and assessment.

• Confirm that clinical claims and the information extracted are substantiated by the original medical record.

• Assess pediatric inpatient documentation, which includes History of Present Illness (HPI), Past Medical History (PMH), birth and developmental history, immunization status, evaluations, and treatment plans.

• Identify any missing, incorrect, or inconsistent clinical information, including considerations appropriate for age and weight-based medication dosing.

• Consistently apply established review protocols and documentation standards.

• Offer clear, evidence-based feedback aimed at enhancing AI model performance and the quality of clinical data.

• Accurately document findings and relay review results to the project team.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree.

• Board certification in Pediatrics, with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine where applicable.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a hospitalist.

• Current or recent experience in inpatient pediatric hospitalist roles within the last two years.

• Strong comprehension of pediatric inpatient workflows, including admissions, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge documentation.

• Proficient in interpreting clinical notes and structured medical record data.

• Excellent clinical judgment, high attention to detail, and the ability to consistently apply review guidelines.

• Strong written communication skills with the capacity to accurately convey clinical findings.
