PBX Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide transportation for guests to any location they desire at any time.

• Respond to incoming and outgoing guest calls promptly, courteously, and effectively.

• Monitor guest requests and follow up to ensure they receive satisfactory service.

• Accurately receive, document, and communicate messages.

• Collaborate with the Bellperson, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security/Loss Prevention to address guest requests and resolve issues.

• Manage wake-up call requests and relay them to the appropriate department.

• Handle guest requests related to wake-up calls, call screening, do-not-disturb settings, call forwarding, conference calls, TDD relay calls, and calls from non-registered guests.

• Redirect calls to the Front Desk during breaks, at night, or when phones are unattended.

• Monitor busy or unanswered lines, providing status updates or taking messages as necessary.

• Greet, acknowledge, engage, and express gratitude to guests using proper hospitality etiquette.

• Proactively anticipate and address guest service needs with professionalism and promptness.

• Foster positive working relationships and support other departments as required.

• Be knowledgeable about safety procedures and maintain up-to-date emergency contact information.

• Proficient in clear and pleasant communication in English, both verbally and in writing, using correct spelling and grammar.

• Capable of performing assigned tasks with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, and teamwork.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Skilled in interacting politely, professionally, and engagingly with resort guests.

• Willing to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to remain composed and think clearly in emergency situations.
