Payroll Tax & Compliance Lead, ADP WFN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and guide junior payroll personnel, fostering their professional development and ensuring accurate outputs.

• Handle the complete payroll lifecycle for over 15 US states, acting as the final escalation point for intricate tax and system matters.

• Direct the withholding, filing, and reconciliation processes for more than 15 states, including SUTA/FUTA, FICA, and local tax nexus.

• Act as the subject matter expert for ADP Workforce Now, ensuring seamless system integration and data integrity.

• Spearhead the registration of new state tax IDs and oversee compliance with SUTA/FUTA/FICA regulations.

• Manage responses to federal and state tax inquiries, garnishments, and year-end W-2/W-3 reconciliations.

• Provide reports to the C-suite regarding audits, 401k, and relevant trends.

• Transition payroll operations from manual methods to automated, scalable solutions.

• Undertake additional duties and projects as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in managing US payroll; multi-state experience is essential.

• High level of proficiency in payroll systems, including ADP WorkforceNow and Kronos/Ukg.

• Advanced skills in Excel, particularly with Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and Macros.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• CPA or CPP certification is highly advantageous.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Availability to work from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PHST to align with US Eastern/Central time zones.

• Successful completion of a background check, including criminal history, previous employment, and education verification.
