This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete payroll process for various clients with pay frequencies including weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly.
• Verify earnings, deductions, taxes, adjustments, and other payroll-related information.
• Analyze and reconcile payroll data prior to final approval and submission.
• Handle off-cycle payrolls, bonuses, and other adjustments.
• Act as the main payroll liaison for designated clients.
• Convey payroll schedules, requirements, and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Offer consultative advice on payroll best practices and compliance matters.
• Cultivate client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Guarantee adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Assist with tax filings, amendments, and year-end activities, including W-2s and 941s.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation.
• Perform audits on payroll inputs and outputs to identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and rectify payroll errors, variances, and client queries.
• Collaborate with tax, benefits, and HRIS teams.
• Maintain payroll configurations, earnings/deductions, and employee information.
• Discover opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance efficiency.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and keep payroll processing records up to date.
• Track time across various clients, projects, and payroll cycles.
• Achieve utilization and billable-hour objectives.
• Assist in forecasting and balancing workloads across the client portfolio.

• 3–5+ years of experience in multi-client payroll processing.
• Extensive experience with payroll processing across multiple frequencies.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax regulations.
• Familiarity with payroll systems; UKG is preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capability to manage several deadlines simultaneously.
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus.
• Experience in a managed services or consulting environment is advantageous.
• Year-end payroll expertise, including handling W-2s, audits, and corrections, is beneficial.
• A degree from an accredited university is a plus.
• Ability to process payroll on weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly schedules.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Experience in supporting tax filings, amendments, and year-end activities.
• Proficiency with payroll systems such as UKG Pro, ADP, or Workday.
