Payer Enrollment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• Prepare applications for various commercial and Medicaid insurance providers, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.

• Track application status and follow up with payers as necessary.

• Address any issues that arise during the enrollment process.

• Act as the primary point of contact for providers, responding to enrollment inquiries and resolving concerns.

• Update provider demographic information in payer directories.

• Assist with maintaining payer rosters, including submissions and audits.

• Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure seamless operations.

• Uphold the confidentiality of provider and credentialing-related information.

• Carry out additional assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in credentialing or enrollment.

• A minimum of 2 years working in a medical practice business office.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

• Ability to work independently and maintain focus for extended periods.

• Proficient in using web-based products and quick to learn new applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with remote work is preferred.

• Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, both now and in the future.
