This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, coach, and supervise a team of Patient Support Associates to guarantee medication adherence, complete prior authorizations, and provide financial assistance support.
• Offer continuous performance management, training, and mentorship.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, PTO, and time reporting using ADP.
• Step in to assist with workload during peak times or when short-staffed.
• Ensure that patients receive their medications promptly and without obstacles.
• Collaborate with hospital and clinic stakeholders through regular meetings and collaboration calls.
• Maintain robust working relationships with pharmacy and clinical teams.
• Monitor and ensure the achievement of service level metrics and quality standards.
• Conduct audits, manage system workflows, and oversee responsiveness to incoming requests.
• Establish and improve workflows between Patient Support, liaison teams, and clinical integration teams.
• Identify and implement operational enhancements and best practices.
• Support data, analytics, contracting, and special projects.
• Provide troubleshooting, guidance, and issue resolution for team members and partners.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training coordination, and system access setup.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive patient and business information.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration (specific to the state).
• National certification (CPhT) is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician (experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred).
• Prior leadership experience (either formal or informal) is highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or currently in progress.
• Leadership/management training is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development abilities.
• Capability to influence, collaborate, and drive results across teams.
• Solid operational and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and enhance performance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (for data analysis and reporting).
• Experience with pharmacy/EMR systems (preferably Willow, QS1, RX30).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and patient-centered.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring confidentiality.
• Capacity to lead both remote and on-site teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (if outside core locations).
