Patient Navigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary contact for providers, patients, caregivers, and product/sales teams.

• Assist patients in accessing therapy.

• Collaborate with Specialty Pharmacy and Hub teams to secure reimbursement coverage.

• Provide details on reimbursement and financial assistance options.

• Facilitate therapy access, perform follow-ups, and connect patients to support services.

• Manage a regional caseload effectively.

• Maintain patient case histories in the CRM system for assigned cases.

• Address reimbursement challenges, including insurance changes and prior authorizations.

• Collaborate with Field Sales Representatives and the Market Access team.

• Respond to patient inquiries and resolve access and reimbursement issues.

• Offer ongoing support through regular communication with patients and caregivers.

• Assist with patient access requests and the application process.

• Ensure consistent and reliable attendance.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in general business, health sciences, public policy, or other relevant fields preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in reimbursement, including benefits investigation, prior authorization, medical benefit, and Medicaid experience.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

• Outstanding listening, writing, and analytical abilities.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for developing presentations and reports.

• Strong understanding of customer care processes and techniques.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in changing environments.

• Proven history of meeting or exceeding performance goals and objectives.

• Must maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

• A dedicated, quiet, and distraction-free home office is required.

• Attendance at a 3-day in-person onboarding training is mandatory.

• Flexibility in schedule and hours is necessary.

• Some travel may be required.
