
Patient Intake Coordinator, Bilingual: English/Spanish β Outpatient Behavioral Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Oversee a significant volume of incoming calls and emails, engaging with 50+ patients daily.
β’ Perform patient intake processes and accurately record information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
β’ Arrange patient appointments based on clinician availability, specialty, and insurance participation.
β’ Confirm insurance eligibility and clearly communicate benefits, copays, and subsequent steps.
β’ Keep schedules and documentation precise and up to date.
β’ Collaborate with clinicians, billing personnel, and administrative staff to efficiently address and resolve issues.
β’ Proficient in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office, behavioral health setting, or healthcare administrative position.
β’ Hands-on experience in verifying insurance benefits and articulating coverage details to patients.
β’ Familiarity with EHR systems and appointment scheduling management.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
β’ Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
β’ A dependable home office setup with high-speed internet access.
β’ Must successfully complete a Level 2 background check.
β’ Candidates must be residents of Florida.
