This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Deliver exceptional call center support and outstanding customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Inform patients about the enrollment procedures.
• Address status inquiries and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Utilize the primary CRM system to manage tasks, execute activities, and assign work to team members.
• Offer expert knowledge on program requirements.
• Act as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers.
• Assist callers in navigating the refill process and resolving inquiries.
• Ensure accurate information is relayed or direct calls to the suitable team member.
• Record all communications from calls.
• Alert relevant parties or systems regarding urgent orders, shipping complications, errors, complaints, or adverse drug events.
• Recognize potential adverse events for pharmacovigilance reporting to ensure FDA compliance.
• Achieve performance benchmarks in accordance with established metrics.
• Complete all mandatory training, including soft skills certification and program overviews.
• Must reside in Illinois or Wisconsin.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• An Associate or College Degree is preferred.
• Previous experience in a call center, healthcare office, corporate environment, healthcare insurance provider, or pharmacy is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with commercial and major medical insurance programs, billing standards, healthcare benefit investigation processes, prior authorization, and appeal submissions.
• Knowledge of private payers, pharmacy benefits, medical benefits, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and alternative funding sources.
• Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using multiple applications while documenting case information.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Lotus Notes Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Possess professional communication skills and a courteous demeanor towards customers and colleagues.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities; capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to respond appropriately in a high-pressure environment.
