This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee patient pathways, track progress, and address or escalate issues that may hinder care delivery.
• Monitor patients in accordance with Referral to Treatment (RTT) and diagnostic waiting time (DM01) standards.
• Handle inquiries from patients, general practitioners, and clinicians, including sensitive or challenging discussions.
• Ensure accurate patient records are maintained and promptly upload correspondence, reports, and results.
• Manage communications via the helpdesk and communications hub, taking necessary actions within stipulated timelines.
• Prioritize multiple tasks to achieve service targets while ensuring accuracy and high standards of patient care.
• Rotate among teams and provide coverage to adapt to changing service needs.
• Participate in enhancing processes, standard operating procedures, and overall patient experience.
• Identify and escalate issues related to patient safety, safeguarding, or service quality.
• Serve as the first point of contact for support through telephone, email, and chat.
• Report directly to the Team Leader.
• Minimum of six months’ experience in customer service or a related field.
• Familiarity with RTT and DM01 reporting standards.
• Exceptional communication abilities, maintaining a calm, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks and pay attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume setting and managing evolving priorities.
• Practical problem-solving skills and initiative to follow through on issues.
• Ability to work independently from home while being an active and reliable team member.
• Proficient in using multiple systems, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Applicants must possess the right to work in the UK.
• Sponsorship is not an option.
• Appointment will be subject to a relevant DBS check and two satisfactory employment references, including one from the most recent employer.
• A private, confidential space to work from home is required.
• Flexibility to assist with team coverage during absences and peak periods is necessary.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
