This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, and members.

• Assist in managing calls for patients experiencing illness or urgent situations.

• Provide support to members with their insurance inquiries, needs, or concerns.

• Aid members in understanding how to utilize their health insurance, which includes changing primary care physicians, finding urgent care facilities, and obtaining prescription authorizations.

• Deliver 24/7 triage assistance and prioritize cases for a Registered Nurse to offer health guidance.

• Address questions regarding benefit claims, appeals, and authorizations.

• Operate efficiently from a home office by ensuring safety, security, communication, organization, and quality of performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required and will be verified during the background check.

• Prior healthcare experience is essential, such as in a medical front office, PBX/911 Operator, medical assistant, nursing assistant, or a comparable role.

• Proficient computer skills are required, including data entry, screen navigation, and typing.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook (email) and Word is necessary.

• Exceptional customer service abilities are a must.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

• Demonstrated qualities of caring, empathy, and compassion are essential.

• Availability to work mid-day and night shifts with alternating days off.

• Must provide two 22-inch monitors equipped with HDMI and Display ports.

• Completion of assessments may be required prior to progressing in the application process; assessments must be performed independently.
