This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Receive incoming calls from patients, providers, and members.
β’ Assist in managing calls for patients who may be ill or facing urgent situations.
β’ Provide support to members regarding their insurance needs, questions, or concerns.
β’ Clarify how to utilize health insurance, including changing primary care physicians, finding urgent care clinics, and obtaining prescription authorizations.
β’ Offer 24/7 triage support and prioritize cases for a Registered Nurse to deliver health advice.
β’ Address inquiries related to benefit claims, appeals, and authorizations.
β’ Provide patient-centered support to enhance patients' healthcare experiences.
β’ High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is necessary - verification will occur during the background check.
β’ Prior healthcare experience is essential, such as in medical front office, PBX/911 Operator, medical assistant, nursing assistant, or similar roles.
β’ Proficient computer skills, including data entry, screen navigation, and keyboarding.
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook (email) and Word.
β’ Outstanding customer service abilities.
β’ Strong oral and written communication skills.
β’ Excellent demonstration of care, empathy, and compassion.
β’ Availability to work during mid-day and night shifts with alternating days off.
β’ Must provide two 22-inch monitors with HDMI and Display ports.
β’ Completion of assessments may be necessary; assessments must be taken independently.
