Patient Accounts Receivable Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Monitor and gather payments for patient accounts from insurance companies

• Oversee the accounts receivable processes for patients

• Reduce outstanding receivables while enhancing revenue efficiency

• Assist inter-company patients with inquiries regarding insurance, account status, and billing

• Document all interactions with patients and updates on account tasks

• Maintain current balances on patient statements

• Process and allocate received insurance payments

• Organize billing for procedures covered by insurance in accordance with business office guidelines

• Handle appeals and submit documentation for disputed, insufficient, or denied insurance reimbursements

• Cultivate positive relationships with vendors, patients, and customers through professional payment communications

• Carry out additional specific duties as assigned

• Report directly to the RCM Supervisor

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory

• At least 1 year of experience in insurance reconciliation and working with insurance providers

• Previous experience in reproductive medicine or women's health is preferred

• Prior experience with insurance calls and EIVF is advantageous

• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays on a rotating schedule

• Must be eligible and authorized to work in the United States

• Successful completion of CCRM Fertility’s onboarding process is required

• Effective communication skills and ability to work on a computer are essential

• Capability to spend extended periods preparing and analyzing data and figures

• Close visual acuity is necessary for computer terminal use and extensive reading

• Proficiency in operating standard office machinery and equipment, including computers, telephones, photocopiers, and scanners
