This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Act as the primary point of contact for patients.
• Assist with both general and escalation appointment scheduling.
• Enroll new patients and review the demographics of existing ones.
• Confirm and update insurance details.
• Address general inquiries from patients.
• Prepare messages for providers, manage triage, surgical scheduling, and coordinate with other internal departments.
• Manage incoming calls for a high-volume practice while working remotely.
• Accurately record patient requests and concerns in the EPIC EMR system.
• Resolve patient inquiries and concerns, and escalate urgent issues as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Utilize standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and faxing through RingCentral.
• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance organization.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with EMR systems is preferred.
• Strong self-management capabilities in a remote work setting.
• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor when interacting with patients, colleagues, managers, and the executive team.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduling instructions.
