Patient Access & Insurance Follow-Up Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Engage in a virtual hiring event and conduct live virtual interviews using Microsoft Teams.

• Deliver remote support for healthcare patient access or insurance follow-up.

• Operate from home in a customer-oriented healthcare position.

• Actively participate in GetixHealth's virtual Collaboration Room with the camera on during working hours.

• Complete tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

• Assist patients and provide support through healthcare administrative services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Preferred experience in healthcare support: patient access, insurance follow-up, billing, or call center settings.

• Capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Detail-oriented and dedicated to helping others.

• Must have a reliable, distraction-free workspace at home.

• Must pass an internet speed test successfully.

• Ability to participate in GetixHealth's virtual Collaboration Room with the camera on during working hours.

• Background checks and drug screenings are required for Patient Access Specialists.

• Background checks are required for Insurance Follow-Up Specialists.

• Preferred: 1 year of call center customer service experience, with healthcare being a plus.

• Preferred: 2 years of experience with MS Office Suite Applications.

• Preferred: 1 year of bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish.

• Preferred: 1 year of practical or classroom knowledge in medical insurance.

• Preferred: 2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
