Partner Engagement Specialist – 6 months contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Assess, track, and enhance supplier performance across designated languages.

• Utilize data-driven insights for supplier selection in collaboration with Program Squads, focusing on quality, timely delivery, market/language strategy, capacity, content expertise, and client specifications.

• Spearhead supplier communication and onboarding processes for new client initiatives.

• Ensure supplier training aligns with client and Pantheon programs.

• Supervise supplier utilization and synchronize resource application with operational strategies.

• Assist Talent Procurement in recruitment efforts to discover and onboard suppliers.

• Evaluate supplier quality in accordance with Welocalize's LQA strategy.

• Identify underperforming suppliers based on delivery metrics, task acceptance times, language quality, and adherence to instructions.

• Implement Quality Improvement Plans, conduct root-cause analyses, and initiate corrective/preventive measures as necessary.

• Oversee customer capacity needs and capacity planning activities.

• Take ownership of performance metrics, resource utilization, timely delivery, and quality for assigned languages.

• Manage device assignments, shipments, returns, reconciliations, security key issuance/revocation, and asset documentation.

• Address access and device incidents, maintain operational runbooks and SOPs, and enforce GDPR/CCPA privacy regulations.

• Generate audit-ready documentation for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance.

• Perform background and location eligibility checks as per client vendor requirements.

• Monitor provisioning, deprovisioning, and MTTR SLAs while identifying opportunities for automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Familiarity with the language services sector and enthusiasm for its technologies, processes, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.

• Proficiency in data literacy with the capability to leverage data for moderately complex decision-making.

• Competence in managing multiple priorities within a dynamic, time-sensitive, and deadline-oriented environment.

• Demonstrated proactive problem-solving and risk mitigation abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Skill in prioritizing projects according to business requirements and urgency.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; fluency in English is essential.

• Proven track record in a high-paced, client-focused setting, preferably within translation or localization.

• Strong listening and cooperative skills.

• Understanding of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and a results-driven mindset.

• Capability to devise clear solutions to moderately complex challenges.
