This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships between Yelp and small to medium-sized businesses (primarily local) agencies along with their advertisers.
• Consistently exceed sales goals by generating new partner-driven revenue each quarter.
• Oversee the partnership and deal-origination process, managing every phase from strategy and planning to pipeline development, outreach, implementation, and ongoing growth.
• Develop engaging and consultative sales presentations that highlight how Yelp’s advertising solutions can effectively reach consumers.
• Act as an advocate and representative for our company at industry events.
• Play a key role in defining the future direction of Yelp’s advertising partner program.
• Establish and nurture partner relationships to guarantee the achievement of assigned objectives.
• Examine agency structures, pinpoint key decision-makers, budget custodians, and understand the agencies' decision-making workflows.
• Foster long-lasting relationships with agencies, assess advertisers' needs, and uphold the significance of Yelp’s partnerships.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance revenue growth with new clients.
• Start each workday with a positive mindset and a commitment to success.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in agency and partner sales, business development, or digital sales roles.
• Knowledge of Yelp’s advertising products, APIs, and industry channel programs like those provided by Google, Bing, or Facebook.
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets in previous roles.
• A vast network of contacts within the technology sector, ranging from startups to established brands.
• Strong and effective communication skills in all formats, including written correspondence, presentations, negotiations, and active listening.
• A genuine enthusiasm for our company's products alongside other consumer internet and mobile offerings.
• A flexible, startup-oriented mindset that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Willingness to travel as required for the role (25%).
