This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Edit long-form videos and Shorts derived from raw footage, which includes sales calls, interviews, webinars, and event recordings.
• Upload and thoroughly optimize YouTube videos through titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, chapters, end screens, and cards.
• Implement SEO best practices to enhance discoverability and increase watch time.
• Transform long-form content into Shorts and clips for YouTube, Instagram, and various other social media platforms.
• Ensure consistent branding, captions, and subtitles in both English and Spanish, maintaining a cohesive visual style across both channels.
• Collaborate with the founder and team on content calendars, scripts, and compliance matters.
• Monitor channel performance and recommend modifications to formats, hooks, or thumbnails based on analytical data.
• Oversee version control and turnaround times to keep a consistent publishing schedule.
• A portfolio or reel that highlights your YouTube editing work on long-form videos and Shorts.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in video editing.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of editing experience specifically for YouTube, encompassing long-form and Shorts.
• Knowledge of how editing choices influence retention, click-through rates, and discoverability.
• Proficient with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
• Capable of completing projects and tasks in a timely and consistent manner.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
• Eager to learn new skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and able to adapt to new CRM platforms.
• Able to adhere to and enhance established processes.
• Possess an analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish; proficiency in Portuguese is preferred as a third language.
• Available to work Monday to Friday during U.S. Eastern Time hours.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, including multi-cam editing, color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics templates.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects for creating lower-thirds, titles, and basic motion graphics.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Audition or similar software for audio cleanup.
• Experience in thumbnail design using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools, Canva, and AI applications.
• Familiar with AI-assisted repurposing tools such as OpusClip or Vidyo.ai.
• Knowledge of YouTube Studio analytics and SEO tools like TubeBuddy or VidIQ.
• Capable of captioning and subtitling in both English and Spanish.
• Understanding of YouTube best practices, including chapters, end screens, cards, playlists, and community posts.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients, prospects, attorneys, and their teams.
• Preferred experience editing for immigration, legal, financial, or B2B/consulting sectors.
• Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive is a plus.
• Basic skills in motion graphics or animation are preferred.
• Comfort in using AI tools for titling, drafting descriptions, and conducting metadata research is preferred.
• Experience with StreamYard, Riverside, or podcast studio tools is a plus.
