Part Time Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Subject Matter Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the team in training and the advancement of training methodologies.

• Aid in defining the parameters for system deployability, readiness, and logistics.

• Provide support for short-term assignments, including various OCONUS TDYs.

• Contribute approximately 20–40 hours of baseline support each month.

• Increase support to around 80–100 hours in months with in-country engagements.

• Engage in an estimated 4–6 TDYs throughout the upcoming year.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with ScanEagle UAS.

• Familiarity and experience with ISR unmanned and manned systems utilized by U.S. forces and allies.

• Knowledge and experience in developing operational doctrine.

• Expertise in the rapid re-deployment of unmanned systems.

• Understanding of current U.S. ISR unmanned and manned systems, along with the ability to disseminate data.

• Experience with local mesh networks in maritime operational environments.

• Proficiency in enhancing “Surveillance & Reconnaissance” from air and surface assets, leveraging lessons learned and best practices.

• Knowledge in the creation and facilitation of maritime tabletop exercises.

• A Secret clearance is mandatory.

• Capability to support multiple OCONUS TDYs.

• Availability for approximately 20–40 hours/month of baseline support, with the potential to increase to 80–100 hours during in-country engagements.
